What geographical areas does Gardens West serve?
The Landscape Construction Department serves Sonoma and Marin Counties.
The Maintenance Department primarily serves Sonoma County.


Do you give free estimates?
The initial site visit is always a free “get acquainted” session to determine and assess your particular wants and desires. We will take some measurements and get back to you with a “ball park” estimate. This is still only an educated guess at the final scope of the project.


How do I pay for your services?
For landscape installation projects, a $1000.00 initial payment is made through a written Signing Agreement. The Signing Agreement indicates an intent to enter into a design/build contract or to work from already prepared plans as the case may be. A regular series of progress payments is then built into the installation schedule as spelled out in the subsequent installation contract.

For landscape maintenance accounts, a regular monthly payment schedule is established in the maintenance contract.

We do not accept credit cards at this time.


Do you have a minimum monthly maintenance charge?
Yes, our service fees start at $250.00 per month and overall monthly rates depend on property size, horticultural needs and individual client requests.


Do you sell plants and other landscape products?
We do not sell any products as such. All materials are provided as part of an installation or maintenance contract agreement. Of course, this agreement can be easily modified to allow for additional products as may be desired or required.


Will my landscape installation be completed in a timely manner?
Your landscape installation contract will include a written work schedule with beginning and completion dates specified. Your landscape crew is on your site every day until your project is completed.


Is there continuity in your landscape maintenance service staff?
Yes, the same crew members have regular service assignments and undergo a thorough orientation before beginning service at a new site.


What other services do you offer besides landscape installation and regular landscape maintenance?
We provide super garden clean-ups and renovations, expert irrigation repairs, annual and perennial flower planting, mulching and specialized pesticide treatments.


Who would I call if I have a special request or problem?
Our office staff, field supervisors and crew leaders are part of a network together with a radio/telephone system for immediate person to person communication. Depending on the urgency of the particular issue, we will respond immediately or no later than the end of the same business day.
